How Vireon Telecom approaches regulatory, security and operational compliance.
Last updated: [PLACEHOLDER — insert date]
1. Our approach
Telecommunications is a regulated industry, and operating in it responsibly means treating compliance as an operational discipline rather than a legal afterthought. Vireon Telecom maintains internal policies covering lawful traffic handling, data protection, fraud prevention, sanctions screening and numbering rules, and reviews them as regulation evolves in the markets we serve.
2. Regulatory posture

Where services touch markets with specific requirements — such as sender-ID registration for messaging, KYC requirements for numbering, or traffic-origin rules — those requirements are built into our onboarding and provisioning workflows so customers meet them by default.
3. Data protection
Our processing of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy. Operationally, we apply data-minimisation to communications metadata, restrict access on a need-to-know basis, and support customers with the information they need for their own compliance obligations, including data-processing terms where applicable. [PLACEHOLDER — reference applicable frameworks once confirmed by counsel.]
4. Fraud & abuse
We operate fraud controls at the platform level — destination and velocity controls, pattern monitoring and 24/7 incident response — and enforce our Acceptable Use Policy against traffic that is fraudulent, unlawful or abusive. We cooperate with industry bodies, carriers and authorities in combating telecommunications fraud, within the limits of applicable law.
5. Numbering compliance
Number resources are allocated under national rules that vary by country and number type. Our provisioning workflows surface documentation and usage requirements before allocation, and we require customers to use numbers consistently with those rules — including local-presence, KYC and usage-type restrictions where they apply.
